We kissed goodbye to pecan pie years ago...but then an idea formed: we don't need no stinking' eggs or butter to make the delicate pecan filling, like in a traditional pie! We'll use maple syrup, applesauce, and plant starches...and large organic crunchy pecans. Because that's why you eat it in the first place!

We liked the pecan pie a lot, but after having last year’s chocolate pecan pie, my kids felt this year’s was lacking. I love the flavor, but have to agree… I miss the chocolate too!
